Grain Elevators
Small Elevator Image
How to see them.

The map contained on this page was originally published in 1931 by the War Department of the Army Corps of Engineers. It shows almost every grain elevator and mill along the Buffalo River as well as all the railroad tracks and boat slips along the way.

Please be aware that this map was reproduced close to original size in order to view the location numbers on the map. The exact size of the map is 2016 x 573 so it will scroll sideways on your browser. You may choose to view the map this way or you may wish to save it to a disk and then load it into some sort of image editing program such as Photoshop to break it up into 4 sections. After that, it is recommended that you print the map for easier viewing. The names of all the numbered sites will appear underneath the map.
