WBEN-AM/TV’s Van Miller snaps the ball to Buffalo Bills quarterback Jack Kemp in 1965. Nationally acknowledges as one of America's greatest pro football announcers, Van has been the "Voice of the Bills" since 1960. He was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1998 and retired from nightly television during the summer of 1999. After his career in football, Jack Kemp went one to gain national prominence; first as a congressman from Western New York and later as a vice presidental candidate during Bob Dole’s run for the White House in 1996.
