John Otto, The dean of talk radio in Buffalo. His calm manner, rich voice and warm style have set a remarkable standard for high-quality conversation when he first positioned himself at a WGR microphone. During his career, Otto anchored news, hosted documentaries and was a quirky music personality. He was inducted into the Western New York Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1998 and passed way in 1999 at the age of 70.
