In this photograph we see a part of Buffalo history that is only 2 years old. I took this while riding my mountain bike on my favorite section of abandoned railroad tracks in North Buffalo. Much to my dismay, shortly after I took the pictures, the area started to become a cluttered mess of construction as businesses and shops made their way onto my trail.
This view is the abandoned D.L.& W. railroad tracks between Delaware and Elmwood Avenues. The area was desecrated by the construction of a new shopping center that includes a Target and an Office Max. What a waste.
