addPhoto('buffalo2.jpg','It was very sad to see the Buffalo knocked off its pedestal. My friend and I turned it upright but it was too heavy to lift back up. This was taken in 1993 in the middle of winter.');

addPhoto('entranc2.jpg','If you were to enter the Terminal today, this is sight you would see. I took a series of photographs from each entrance allowing for the distant light to create the image while the area in which I was standing remained dark.');

addPhoto('exter4.jpg','By the early 1980s, it was pretty clear that the Terminal was in bad shape. Here is a view of the mail and baggage building off Curtiss Street. You would have no problem getting inside with these windows.');

addPhoto('archway.jpg','At one time, these archways guided travellers out of the Terminal and into Buffalo. Now they are targets for paintball guns and vandals.');

addPhoto('basment.jpg','One of the most claustrophobic areas of the Terminal is the basement. You need to treat it as if you were exploring a cave - many flashlights, rope, and warm clothes. It is a very dangerous area. This area is actually another entrance into the Terminal from Curtiss Street. When I took this photograph in the winter of 1992, Buffalo was getting one of many "blizzards". My friends and I were exploring the interior when the storm got much worse and we figured we would wait it out inside the building. The only problem is that it is four times colder inside than out. You can see Tom at the top of the stairs off to the left, and Chuck with his back to the camera.');

addPhoto('concor3.jpg',"I shot this from the balcony overlooking the main hall. There was a ton of old paperwork at our feet and it made it quite hard to walk. I still can't figure out how it got there. ");

addPhoto('ladyroom.jpg','These are the stalls in the ladies bathroom off of the powder room. What makes this photograph special is the fact that the day after I took it, my friend Mike and I went in the Terminal to shoot some footage for his film and were greeted by the sound of tremendous smashing and screaming. When we went to investigate, we scared the living hell out of some kid who was attacking the stalls with a sledge hammer! The kid was soaking wet with his own sweat and almost dropped dead when he saw us. It was just blatant destruction. The kid dropped the sledge hammer and took off down one of the hallways, but the entire ladies room was destroyed beyond what this photograph shows. The stalls were made of solid marble.
