Before there was the Niagara Mohawk power company, electricity in the Buffalo area was handled by the Buffalo General Electric Company. This photograph is of a repair crew proudly displaying their record for "no accidents on the job". Back when this picture was taken in October of 1923, electricity was about as cheap as breathing. Power came from Niagara Falls.
